BIO: His beginnings were on the dirt fields of Tandil. His start in amateur football was at Club La Movediza in Tandil. He arrived in Buenos Aires to join the youth ranks of Club Ferro Carril Oeste, where he played until the seventh division. He joined Independiente of Avellaneda in 1996, playing for the fifth division. His good performance led to his debut two years later, in October 2000, in the Copa Mercosur against Universidad Católica of Chile, and later in the Argentine league against Argentinos Juniors at Ferro Carril Oeste’s stadium. This marked the beginning of his very successful career, culminating in a championship won in the 2002 Argentine Apertura tournament. He was then sold to the Normandy club Caen in France in 2007, where he won the league title in 2010. He was then transferred to Universidad Católica of Chile, winning the Bicentennial Championship in 2010.
